This book is amazing. I first read it when I was 9, and the storyline still gets me near to tears every time, even though I’ve read it so many times I’ve lost count.
When my friend was going through a seriously depressed stage and she was self harming too, I bought her a copy of ‘Driftwood’. Not me, nor our friends, could get through to her that people care for her and love her, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel; but this book did. She is very much a real Paul to me. Driftwood got my best friend out of a deep hole, so, apart from the fact I love it, thanks for writing it because without it she might not be in the happy state she’s in today.
So — please PLEASE write a sequel. I’m BEGGING you. You (sort of) wrote a sequel to Dizzy, and Driftwood deserves it too…. you’ve created some amazing characters there, seriously, so can you tell us what happens to them next? I’m sure I’m not the only person who reads your books who’s quite so desperate for a sequel!

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! Its so good I got in trouble for reading it too much. My favourite part was when Hannah found out Krusty followed her. I would recomend this book to anyone who loves books with friendship and a bit of romance
