Driftwood

Can Hannah stop her friends from drifting apart?

‘I feel like I’m losing my best mate . . .’

Hannah and Joey have been best friends forever – just the two of them. But when Joey’s new foster brother, Paul, turns up, everything changes. First Joey falls for Hannah’s brother, Kit. Then Paul complicates things – with some kittens, a chocolate bar and a stripy pink bicycle.

Hannah’s world is turning upside down. Can you rescue a friendship when it’s drowning? Can you save a friend in trouble – if they don’t want to be saved?

  2. OMG! I’ve just finished the last 4 pages of Drifwood! It ties with GingerSnaps as the best book I’ve read in my whole life. Cathy Cassidy is the best author ever!
I would sail a long way to save my BF.
I would try my hardest to save a drowning friendship.
I would save a friend in trouble no matter what they thought. That’s what friends are for. I’m sure we could sort things out.

  5. Driftwood is really deep and realistic, Paul is the ood one, the peacock among the sparrows, while Hannah is a sparrow, its just really sad and happy at the same time, making you want to close the book and cry but you dont because you want to read on as if it is addictive, as it really is for me. It made me shed a few tears and it made me laugh and smile at points, but i will always say that this is better than twilight and harry potter.
