Driftwood is a book about rebellion, individuality, friendship and standing out from the crowd. Paul is diffrent, Joey is diffrent. . . like me! I am diffrent from most people.
Bullying can really ruin lives. My friend moved away because he was bullied. . . Bullying is serious.
This book deals with some inportant subjects. . .It helped me through some difficult times.

driftwood is absolutely AMAZING. i have read all your books but driftwood is the best in my opinion.
i guess thats because i can realate to paul as i was bullied, plus i went through self harm once- but never, ever again….
i love joey to BITS! she was os much like me its unbeleievable. i love good charlotte, i went out with my mates bro, and my teacher is forever giving off to me about my customised punky uniform style!
as for kit, i think he is really stupid for bullying paul and saying he was gay….awwk. if he was my bro, i would SLAP HIM anyway, if you havent read driftwood, then do, cos its amazing!
After recentlly reading Gingersnaps and Scarlett, I decided to try out Driftwood too. I loved it! The chracters were easy to imagine and you got a really clear idea of what they were like. The story line was fantastic too. Hannah was so kind to Paul, even when others didnt like him. So many amazing things happened, and it was good it had a happy ending too. Bullying is a serious matter= the book really makes you think. I enjoyed it tremendously, and would again reccomend it to any Cathy Cassidy fan. 10/10, 5 stars and a brilliant story.
i was so upse twice in this story 1 is when joey and hannah found the kittens 2 when paul went back to glasgo after hannah and pauls love story i cried at both.
Cathy is my fave author and i have not been dissapointed in any of her books. Driftwood is another BRILL book. It comes among the top reads yet.

I cannot get over how realsistic these books are! I’m sat on my bed, having a read when my kitten jumps up and falls asleep by me, and then I look up at my BLACK lippy on top of the cabinet that I got for Birthmas… AWESOME (notice how I put BIRTHmas??)

ohaiiii; i offically laaahv driftwood, its got such an amazing twist and i think it shows the problem wiff havingg hot brothers and flamboyant friends yuhh, lawll I reckon yooh should make yr books into movies yeah? Taht would be brill! x
