‘I feel like I’m losing my best mate . . .’
Hannah and Joey have been best friends forever – just the two of them. But when Joey’s new foster brother, Paul, turns up, everything changes. First Joey falls for Hannah’s brother, Kit. Then Paul complicates things – with some kittens, a chocolate bar and a stripy pink bicycle.
Hannah’s world is turning upside down. Can you rescue a friendship when it’s drowning? Can you save a friend in trouble – if they don’t want to be saved?
OMG! I [LOVE] Driftwood! It’s funny, sad and romantic – I mean, I love the humour at the beginning, and I feel happy for Joey and Kit…but then he goes and spoils a great relationship to be a bully. Also, OMG, I almost cried…I was so sad about Paul, especially when I found out about the sweatbands and the long sleeves…my heart flipped over too! Great writing, Cathy – we all <3 ur books so keep it up - can't wait for the nxt book ur writin!
I have not finished it yet but I love it. All the questions and no answers. I love Paul I think he is a great character and I think Hannah fancies him..
