just finished driftwood, only took me an hour and a half split between 2 days. its such an amazing book, especially when it got to the end bit, and i love the many mentions of good charlotte, as they are one of my favourite bands (others are paramore, green day and my chemical romance, 4, i know).
i red this book while i was on holiday in cornwall it was really really good , so i didnt put it down all the time i was there. driftwood was happy in parts and sad in others it has such good description you feel like your there in joeys cottage or with the kittens it is the best book i have ever read and it has so much feeling i would recomend it to anyone and everyone. thanks hannah xxx

When I got this book for my birthday a week ago, I wasn’t sure if I would like it because I have never read Cathy Cassidy before and I didn’t know what her books were like, but, after reading Driftwood, I only have one thing to say: BRILLIANT! I loved the whole book, except for the part where Paul was bullied; I was close to tears! I will definately read more of Cathy’s books now. (As I type, I am reading bits of Scarlett, which I brought today.) Keep on writing, Cathy! You’re brilliant!
best book ive read, it really helped me, i had a lot of trouble being bullied for being different and i self harmed too for different reasons but then some kid suspected and pulled my sweatband off. i believe u should stand for what you believe in and not let anyone get you down, parents, teachers, or other kids, dont let them get to you. ur an absolute inspiration cathy

OMG! I abdolutley loved ur book driftwood it was sooo gr8 and i felt so sorry 4 Paul who was getting bullies i wanted to cry!!!
