Dizzy

Will her secret birthday wish come true?

‘I never sleep, the night before my birthday . . . it’s the only day of the year I hear from her . . .’

Dizzy’s mum left when she was small. But every year, on her birthday, something arrives in the post – a present or a card with her mum’s loopy writing on it. Dizzy has kept everything.

This year is different. Nothing comes in the post, but something amazing is about to arrive on Dizzy’s doorstep. Something that will whisk her away – and put Dizzy’s world in a spin.

Reviews of Dizzy

  1. Me and my friends Alana, Lucy, Sophie, Jessica and Jadie had a reading party at A’s house. Between us we had all your books. We each read them in turn and because we’re all fast readers we read each of them in about half an hour each. Together we enjoyed all the books, went on our laptops an wrote our school project all about you and your books. And guess what we all got straight A’s!!!

  4. I read this book while I was on holiday, it was so good I read it in 2 days! My favourite charactwer is Finn because he is exactly like my cousin, called Finn!
I think the reason why I was so stuck to the book was because there were so many cliffhangers, especially when Mouse drive the BMX into the bonfire!

  6. I love this book! Once i had picked it up i couldn’t put it down again!! I thought write from the bit in the book where dizzy met finn they were going to fall in love – well i hoped they would anyway!! Dizzy was romantic, funny and sad – it made me cry when mouse fell in the bonfire and when they all had to go back to were they belonged because the summer was ending. Once id finished the book i wanted the book to carry on its adventure but its got to end somewhere hasnt it!!!!
