‘I never sleep, the night before my birthday . . . it’s the only day of the year I hear from her . . .’
Dizzy’s mum left when she was small. But every year, on her birthday, something arrives in the post – a present or a card with her mum’s loopy writing on it. Dizzy has kept everything.
This year is different. Nothing comes in the post, but something amazing is about to arrive on Dizzy’s doorstep. Something that will whisk her away – and put Dizzy’s world in a spin.
This book is one of my favorite books ever! It was so good!!!!!!! =)
‘Dizzy’ is the best book I’ve ever read. It was the 1st Cathy Cassidy I read, I simply could not put it down and once I read I had to read another 1 so I read ‘Indigo Blue’ , then ‘Scarlett’ and then ‘Ice-creams and Dreams’ but I think ‘Dizzy’ is the best.
I have nearly finished this book it is great. I cant put it down.
I really enjoyed the book because it really revealed the characters. I really felt for Mouse because his mum left him and I enjoyed the part when Dizzy and Finn went to the beach and I hated the bit when Mouse fell into the bonfire because I felt sorry for him. My favourite character is Dizzy.
I loved Dizzy sooooo much and when I turned to the chapter of Finn’s birthday I was so exited I even got butterflies in my stomach, that was my favourite chapter!!!
