‘I never sleep, the night before my birthday . . . it’s the only day of the year I hear from her . . .’
Dizzy’s mum left when she was small. But every year, on her birthday, something arrives in the post – a present or a card with her mum’s loopy writing on it. Dizzy has kept everything.
This year is different. Nothing comes in the post, but something amazing is about to arrive on Dizzy’s doorstep. Something that will whisk her away – and put Dizzy’s world in a spin.
This book was heartbreaking,
scary, sorrowful and passionate! To have done that you need to have talent, which you have obviously got and been demonstrating. My favourite book is Dizzy, as it contains a minute bit of my life story. I’m going to be honest: If you haven’t read Dizzy you a)haven’t lived, b)are missing something and c) have been living in a cave for these last few years. I urge you to ENJOY!

This is fave book in the WHOLE WORLD! I love it.
It is so romantic, and so sad I laughed and cryed( well I felt like crying!)
Hey Cathy! Judging from the book extract, I bet your book will be the tops! I really wanted my Mom to buy me Lucky Star, but it hasn’t come out in Singapore yet.Bummer. Can you send it to Singapore first? Me and my friend will be real happy if you send it to Singapore quickly. I read Dizzy already, so by then I’ll be ready for Lucky Star! Dizzy is really nice. I like Storm, but I think Dizzy is the best. She helps get Mouse to get through (with Finn) his really hard life. I think Zak isn’t nice. He does not deserve to father Mouse. Mouse had a real hard life before Dizzy came. Thanks!
i thought dizzy was absolutely fabulous i couln’t put it dowm for a second that i finshed in one day but i didn’t want it to end
