‘I never sleep, the night before my birthday . . . it’s the only day of the year I hear from her . . .’
Dizzy’s mum left when she was small. But every year, on her birthday, something arrives in the post – a present or a card with her mum’s loopy writing on it. Dizzy has kept everything.
This year is different. Nothing comes in the post, but something amazing is about to arrive on Dizzy’s doorstep. Something that will whisk her away – and put Dizzy’s world in a spin.

My most favourite book ever!
I read it over and over again.
Keep writing your fabulous books Cathy!
What can I say? Dizzy is just brilliant, brilliant, brilliant – as knew it would be! The book even made ME dizzy with happiness and excitement! All Cathy’s books are so cool. I wanted to be with Dizzy and tell her it’s okay. I felt as if Dizzy became my friend. She is kind and sensitive. I felt as if I was going with her and her mum. I will never ever get bored of Cathy’s books, ven if I read it a thousand times!!! You are the best writer ever, Cathy! You and your books inspire me!
i am writing a reveiw on it and all i can say is wonderful things about it its so well written and it gets you into the book in the first page all i can say about it is WOW! its got that sort of genre tat is mixed between comedy and romanceish towards the end it will be a book that readers will never forget so get on board and read it
I loved this book so much! I have also read Indigo Blue and loved it. I think Dizzy has a great story line. Finn sounds like a great friend, and Dizzy and Finn are cute together. The description of Mouse’s and Finn’s burn injuries made me feel a little sick but that’s OK! I not great with that kind of stuff… like Dizzy ;). Only thing I have to say is that I think there should definitely be a sequel to this awesome book! Thanks so much for writing it and please consider writing a sequel?!
I love the book Dizzy. I felt all the emotions running through me when I read this book. I cried at the end because it was so heartfelt. I love Cathy Cassidy!!!
i love this book as soon as i started reading it i couldn’t stop
