‘I never sleep, the night before my birthday . . . it’s the only day of the year I hear from her . . .’
Dizzy’s mum left when she was small. But every year, on her birthday, something arrives in the post – a present or a card with her mum’s loopy writing on it. Dizzy has kept everything.
This year is different. Nothing comes in the post, but something amazing is about to arrive on Dizzy’s doorstep. Something that will whisk her away – and put Dizzy’s world in a spin.
THE BEST BOOK YOU HAVE EVER WRUTTEN SOO FAR I LOVE OU CYA XXXXX π
Dizzy is a book that is so amazing. When I read it, i couldn’t put it down. I just couldn’t wait to read the next page, and when a problem started, i got butterflys in my stomach because I wanted to see how it was resolved. Overall, the book is amazing , you cant stop reading it, and if you were thinking of reading this, READ IT!!!!!
Woah,I may be young as im only 9 but I love to read. I got given a large bunch of cathy cassidy from my mums friend. I read them as soon as i got them. And dizzy was obv my favorite one. I read it twice in a row I loved it so much! Keep writing cathy!
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Dizzy!!! When I started reading it I felt sorry for Dizzy as her mum left her at 4 years old, but when her mum came back I knew something would go wrong. I wish Mouse would have just been adopted by Dizzy’s famly and his mum moved close to their apartment so she could see Mouse every day. Also Finn’s family moved to Birmingham. Or Cathy could write Dizzy 2. (I Wish) I rate this book 4.9 out of 5.
i loved this book & i had to write a book report .. i gave it 5/5 stars!xxxxx
Dizzy. I love it!!!!
For a writers first book, its really good and shows that she is a brilliant writer and that her books are going to get better and better!!!
My favourite part of Dizzy is when ummm my favourite part is everything!!
I rate this book 10 out of 5!
I lov dizzy . read it 7 times . i really reccomend it !
I haven’t exactly finished this book yet, but so far I love it! It really gets you wanting to read more! I think its great. Dizzy has a really good character too, and Storm is so different from what Dizzy thinks of her!
Dizzy is easily the best book I’ve ever read. I didn’t understand stuff because I’m from the US, but it’s still amazing. I would’ve never thought of a book idea like Cathy did. Now I plan on getting all of her books, especially Lucky Star, about Mouse!
I read Dizzy when I was 10 years old, I think it would have been. I loved it to pieces and I’m pretty sure I read it around 6-7 times in one month. I never got bored of it. I just got asked if I could be one character from a book from my childhood, who would it be, and the first thing that came to my head was Dizzy, even if I haven’t read it in years. It is am amazing book and I have never forgotten it π
