‘I never sleep, the night before my birthday . . . it’s the only day of the year I hear from her . . .’
Dizzy’s mum left when she was small. But every year, on her birthday, something arrives in the post – a present or a card with her mum’s loopy writing on it. Dizzy has kept everything.
This year is different. Nothing comes in the post, but something amazing is about to arrive on Dizzy’s doorstep. Something that will whisk her away – and put Dizzy’s world in a spin.

I’ve just started reading dizzy im not finsihed yet but im going to take it on holiday with me to finsih but so far i seriosuly love it i cant put it down its soo good π so after i read dizzy im going to buy lucky star xx
The first bit of it is is amazing! The saddest bit of it was when Mouse( I feel so sorry for him!) fell into the fire. The greatest bit was when dizzy finally got to see her mum again! This book has ups and downs and a great deal of love in it so thats properly why it is so awesome! Well Done Cathy!
Dizzy is one of my all-time favorite books I’ve ever read and you’re my favorite author! Considering I’m not normally a bookworm this book has really made an impact on me. Whenever I look at the cover of the book I get the feeling that it’s an ordinary story containing some fuzzy teenage romance and innocent thoughts of being a child, but there’s so much more to it than I could have ever imagined! I’ve re-read this book (Dizzy) a couple of times at different ages, the first time being 12 and now I’m 17, somehow I get a different feeling/perspective and notice more details, as well as I manage to picture the characters more clearly in my mind for everytime I read the book. I simply love it!
It’s almost something magical about how attached I feel to Dizzy and Mouse, and how childishly I’m crushing on Finn, but all in all, your book simply puts a smile on my face whenever I’m feeling down and that’s what’s make it the most magical and treasured for me. Wish you the best of luck in life, love and ambitions! Thanks for being you and sharing your amazing tories.
