‘I never sleep, the night before my birthday . . . it’s the only day of the year I hear from her . . .’
Dizzy’s mum left when she was small. But every year, on her birthday, something arrives in the post – a present or a card with her mum’s loopy writing on it. Dizzy has kept everything.
This year is different. Nothing comes in the post, but something amazing is about to arrive on Dizzy’s doorstep. Something that will whisk her away – and put Dizzy’s world in a spin.
Got this for free from buying an issue of totalgirls magazine on 2006. Didn’t thought this book would be that great since it was free! Turned out to be the best! Loved it! I wrapped the book with plastic so it’d last forever 😀
At school my friend Alex was reading Dizzy and she told me it was rally good so I went out shopping I got it and when I was done reading I read it again. And now I have the whole set!

I am half way through and I can tell that the ending is gonna be great!! It is like a retro hippie british book and it is so unexpected. Like that would eva happen to people like me and well everyone!! Dizzy is I guess the most lucky person in well not the world but the hippie new age traveler world!! U know?!
i forgot to mention that you should so turn it in to a film
or write a nuther book about finn and dizzy.
Dizzy is an amazing book. I couldn’t put it down.
I thought that dizzy is fantastic book and everyone should have a copy. i will definitely be getting a copy myself . I’m so glad they had it in my school library.
If boyfriends and Family is your thing then i would recommend this book to you. it is realistic.and Dizzy meets some friends on her Family Journey.
Dizzy has everything I look for in a novel – it’s unpredictable with heaps of twists and turns, it’s emotional and heartbreaking, and it’s well-written so you really get inside Dizzy’s world. Can’t wait to see how it ends! :o)
