Coco Caramel

COCO. Blue eyes, fair hair and freckles. She’s a tomboy who loves animals and wants to change the world . . .

Coco is the youngest of the Tanberry sisters but she’s as headstrong as any of them . . .

Coco is crazy about animals and loves her riding lessons. When Caramel, her favourite pony at the stables, is sold, Coco scopes out the new owner – and she’s not happy about what she discovers. With big sister Honey going off at the deep end and Summer only just recovering from her eating disorder, there’s no-one at Tanglewood to help Coco out. Can Coco save Caramel alone – or will a new friend help her?

Reviews of Coco Caramel

  1. Coco caramel is amazing and it is my new favorite book. Your books always capture my imagination and I feel part of the story. I feel like I AM Coco. I cried when Lawrie left and my stomach turned when Caramel and Spirit got whipped. I love the way that the boy ‘heroes’ always seem to have such intricate back stories that you want to be weaved into. I love your books. Cathy, don’t ever stop writing.

  5. Hi Cathy! I love all your books but Coco Caramel is far and away my favourite. Once The Chocolate Box girls are over, please can you write another series, as it’s really great to see the characters’ personalities progress. Lawrie is my favourite character, and I have a feeling if you rewrite the series when the characters are older, something’ll happen with Coco and Lawrie…
Please keep writing, your books are worth their weight in gold! B

  6. Did anyone else make the connection between Coco and Lawrie sitting in a tree, (almost) kissing, and the rhyme saying (Someone) and (Someone), sitting in a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G.?

  10. I got this book with my pocket money. I really like the bit when
Coco and Lawrie Marshall steal mr Seddons horses. It is a bit
scary cause I thought they would get put in prison.
    I rate it 20/20
