Angel Cake

Will Anya’s new beginning have a happy ending?

‘I’m excited about moving, but scared as well . . .’

Anya used to dream of moving to Britain to start a brand-new life. But as she sits in a school where nobody understands her, she dreams of Polish summer skies and the place where she once belonged.

Then Anya meets bad boy Dan. He’s no angel, but she’s sure there’s a sweeter side to him. And when things begin to fall apart, Anya realizes she’s not alone – how can Dan be such bad news when being with him feels like heaven?

  8. Wow!A great book, I think that this is one of my faverates becouse i love storys that have twisted real life and fantasy. In angel cake I can connect with the charecters, mostly Anya (despite the fact that im not polish or have ever been to poland or liverpool) i think this is becouse cathy makes it very personal and discribes everything. It makes you feel like your reading Anya’s diary
i highly reccomend this book and all of the other cathy cassidy books to any person who is looking for a good book to read that is very entertaining and they sometimes can help you deal with things that may have happened in your life that she has written about.
