Angel cake was a very god book. It’s about a girl called Anya who moves to Britain with no English whatsoever. She misses the Polish summer skies and the swallows. Forced to live in a flat above the local chippy, Anya’s life is miserable. Then she meets bad boy Dan and they immediately fall in love. But how can Anya love someone who is willing to burn down school books in the middle of class and just walk out of the school? But she cant resist those chocolate melting eyes, and completely, perfectly tanned skin. Anya soon makes a few friends, and a few enemies too. I think this is a great book and I recommend this to all Jacqueline Wilson and Cathy Cassidy lovers.

OMG Cathy best book ever-YES!I want to be like you a fab writter oh my gosh all the books now GET LOL !!!My mum said i should tell you a story she was told when she was little here it goes there was once in carlisle a anicent tale that a girl was from the futere and her name was Hera and on day her dad sent her to the past 2010 she falls in love with Dylan but there is a war with the past Hera tries to fix it and ends up stuck in the past but nobody knows if she got out it remains a mystery the tale is called The Time Travel Girl!!
i love this book it is just like me i moved from endland to australia i didn’t think it was so good at the start and i love dan he seems nice
O.M.G angel Cake is awesome i have read every single Cathy cassidy book and my Favourite was Angel cake closely followed by Sundae Girl I would strongly recommend anyone and everyone to read angel Cake Because it is Utter Genius!!!!
Angel cake is a book about a girl named anya who lives in karakowand has always of dreamed of living in england, and then har dream comes true and her whole family move to liverpool and there she starts a new school and meets 2 special friends kurt and frankie,then she meets drop dead georgeas noy named dan shes no anglebut how when being with him feels like heaven..and well when her dads bussness is falling apart every thing goes wrong and the same for because his dad has left them and the only comfort they have is each othere but things take a turn for the worst and anya might have to say goodbye to dan because she might be moving back to karakow as much as they dont want to be apart anya and dan think of running away but they dont in the end at the school dance at christmas dan is tricked by lily cardwell into kissing her(mistsoel toe)but it is tooo late and anya storm off and says “YOUR JUST LIKE YOUR DAD”with hurts dan and he storms off for days and days.eventually dan was found and anyas dad got a new job and they stayed in liverpool and as for dan and anya they went out again where together for a long time……..
I think angel cake is fab, as three years ago I moved from Norway to scotland and I didn’t understand broad scots but now Im talking it myself!
Anyway I think that it is really important that people understand how important it is to make new kids feel welcome!

Wow i think your book is so great that i am in the middle of reading it again for the second time and i know that dan is not real but he sounds like my kinda guy and anya is so lucky and this book is about a girl who moves house from iceland to liverpool not knowing that there is an adventure wanting for her and this adventure is about her and a bad boy named dan mcgreedy….
