‘I’m excited about moving, but scared as well . . .’
Anya used to dream of moving to Britain to start a brand-new life. But as she sits in a school where nobody understands her, she dreams of Polish summer skies and the place where she once belonged.
Then Anya meets bad boy Dan. He’s no angel, but she’s sure there’s a sweeter side to him. And when things begin to fall apart, Anya realizes she’s not alone – how can Dan be such bad news when being with him feels like heaven?

I have read it, it was great, carry on writing cathy!!
Angel Cake was an amazing book. I thought it had a great story line and some amazing characters. I loved Anya and Dan too. Anya was really shy but became a lovely confident girl with great friends. Dan was a bad boy in school hours but was an angel outside of school. I am sure that Dan was an angel inside all the time though. It is a book worth reading.
This book is really awesome, and like it’s title, angelically sweet. I can relate to how Anya feels about moving country, and it helped me really get inside the story.
It’s beautifully written, and I can’t wait to read Cathy’s next book!
i loved the book. i read it in 3 days because i loved it so much.i didnt want to finish it.great book, cathy!!!!
W.O.W I was totally, totally gripped from the first page- Cathy Cassidy is such a fab writer. I completely, UTTERLY understood how Anya was feeling, although I’ve never moved schools (let alone countries). I don’t understand people who’ve never heard of Cathy… C’mon everyone, get stuck in…you don’t know what you are missing!!!
