Angel Cake

Will Anya’s new beginning have a happy ending?

‘I’m excited about moving, but scared as well . . .’

Anya used to dream of moving to Britain to start a brand-new life. But as she sits in a school where nobody understands her, she dreams of Polish summer skies and the place where she once belonged.

Then Anya meets bad boy Dan. He’s no angel, but she’s sure there’s a sweeter side to him. And when things begin to fall apart, Anya realizes she’s not alone – how can Dan be such bad news when being with him feels like heaven?

  7. I love Angel Cake so much. The romantic tours around Liverpool, the cheats, the lies and of course the cakes. It’s a real page turner! Oh, and I forgot to mention… Getting the book made me win the Cupcakes&Kisses competition!

  8. I find it very outgoing to be writing about something outside her normal catagorys, I like the change and find it a very comforting read, it gives me different views on how people live and how mistakes change a lot of things. I think the one of the best things about this book is the way that things turn out. Anya is expecting big things from England and when she arrives, she is very dissapointed. Yet as life goes on for Anya, she seems to concentrate on the good things about life, and that is what saves her life in liverpool.
