‘I’m excited about moving, but scared as well . . .’
Anya used to dream of moving to Britain to start a brand-new life. But as she sits in a school where nobody understands her, she dreams of Polish summer skies and the place where she once belonged.
Then Anya meets bad boy Dan. He’s no angel, but she’s sure there’s a sweeter side to him. And when things begin to fall apart, Anya realizes she’s not alone – how can Dan be such bad news when being with him feels like heaven?

This book is pretty amazing!! Out of all of your books, this and Scarlett are probably the most realistic. I find that your books and Jaqueline Wilson’s are quite similar and aren’t really realistic, (that’s not a bad thing)!
This book is brill! : )

I know you can’t help who you like because I can’t. I have a crush on a bad boy, I guy that swears and is rude. As much as I have tried I can’t stop. Angle cake helped me relies people can change, and amazing things can happen 🙂 xxxxx

I’ve only just started to read this book, but it is great! Cathy, YOU ROCK!
Angel Cake is so awesome! I kinda feel sorry for Anya. I know what it’s like to move house into a new place you know you can never fit into. But I say Anya did just fine making new friends, exploring a new world and realizing that people can change, when she falls for a bad boy at her school. Angel Cake is amazing- YOU ROCK CATHY! xxx
