Angel Cake was the second Cathy Cassidy Book I brought (Read the others from school library). I’m so glad I have my own copy as its absolutely amazing!
I love the fact that in all the books theres something different and a little twist, also I like the romance that get put into the books aswell, I think its cute 🙂 Keep up the good work Cathy I can’t wait to buy/borrow more of your books, my favourite Author so far is you! Even though I only started to read the books this year, they’re amazing!.

Hi Cathy! Your book, Angel Cake, is awesome! I really love this book but I can’t keep it for long as it is a library book. Most of the things that happened in this book has got something with one of my BEST FRIENDS. Anyway, you are then coolest!:)
This is like the BEST book ever.It only took me a day to read.Anya,Dan,Frankie and Kurt are awesome characers not forgetting mean Lily.

I loved this book it was amazing!!!! I loved the bit where you put that Dan and Anya Kissed sitting in the rain i just thought that is so sweet but that lilly girl didn’t said to nice once put it in i had a picture inside my head of her and she didnt look very nice too but the dan boy souned so sweet from what you put.

I am reading this book on my Cathy Cassidy DS game and it is awsome!I love all the interactive parts and couloured pics.It is funny when they saw Dan in angel wings!I have not fineshed it yet as it has over 900 pages! I dont know how she writes it all,she must be fab!
I just re-discovered my love for this book, for all of Cathy Cassidy’s books! I haven’t read any recently, exam revision is taking over my life, but I remember exactly how perfect each book truly is. Angel Cake is by far my favourite – not only because of the many references to The Beatles. I adore this book because it is beautifully written, and the whole essence of the storyline is simply magical. Reading this, it’s made me understand further how other people think – how Anya hates that nobody understands her at her new school. I see that often with the people around me, and previous to Cathy’s books I hadn’t thought twice, now I’m more likely to butt in and help out when something like this happens. Everything about Angel Cake is beautiful. Once my exams are over and I’m finally relaxing in the (hopefully!) sun in my garden, I’ll be reading Angel Cake, following it by Dizzy, Sundae Girl and Gingersnaps – three of my other beloved favourites by the amazing Cathy Cassidy <3
