‘I’m excited about moving, but scared as well . . .’
Anya used to dream of moving to Britain to start a brand-new life. But as she sits in a school where nobody understands her, she dreams of Polish summer skies and the place where she once belonged.
Then Anya meets bad boy Dan. He’s no angel, but she’s sure there’s a sweeter side to him. And when things begin to fall apart, Anya realizes she’s not alone – how can Dan be such bad news when being with him feels like heaven?
After cherry crush, dizzy, love, peace & chocolate is my favourite of all time ANGEL CAKE!
wow,it awesome, I couldn’t put the book down.
it was the best book since Scarlett and i really enjoyed reading it i would like another book like that i have and will enjoyed all of ur books ITS THE BEST BOOK SINCE CHERRY CHURSH AND SCARLETT
This book is a great read!
Everything about it is perfect, the characters, the story-line, the location. The describing words make you feel like your there too! Like you can feel Dan’s warm lips or the chippy’s vinegar smell sticking to everything. You can picture everything going on, Lilly smoking a ciggy in the trees during P.E, Frankie and Anya getting ready for the dance, the flames and smoke from Dan’s desk, the wonderful taste of Karen’s cakes and the feeling of being invisable.
I would strongly advise this book to everyone who is a Cathy Cassidy addict!!
I LOVED ANGEL CAKE!!!!!
I never wanted it to end.
When it finally did end I thought I was gonna cry (I didn’t of coarse)
Cathy Cassidy is my fav author.
But my favourite out of them all is Angel cake!!!!
Next I’ll be reading Gingersnaps…
Hey, I read Angel Cake in one day because i just couldn’t put it down. I love the way you end all your books. Your my favorite writer but I only have 9 of your books:( I cant wait till Marshmallow skye comes out because I also loved Cherry Crush! I would love to be a writer when I am older and you are my inspiration. This is one of my favorite books because this is exactly how it is like in high school! You really understand a teenagers feelings and I think this is so sweet! Love it and keep on writing!!!!
It was the first Cathy Cassidy book I ever read.
It made me go all sad eyed and dreamy every time I turned the page.
So gorgeous, I couldn’t put it down!
This is my favourite one. My best friend is Polish and since all the girls in my class read they were all nicer to her. And also beacuse I love Dan the bad boy that turns out to be a really nice boy.
Cathy you write thrilling books, the beginning of the book was so exciting.
Cathy you are brilliiant at describing feelings. When it was Anya’s first day at her new school you described the feeling extreemly well.I know what it feels like when it is your first day at a new school.
The story of the book was grand! The end of the story was very charming, everyone’s problems were solved.
You are a fab writer.
Keep writing!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope your next book is a great success.
