Sweet Honey

HONEY. Ringletty blonde hair, creamy skin, artistic, moody, charming . . .

Honey is going to live with her dad in Australia. Determined to make a fresh start, she couldn’t be further away from the tough times at Tanglewood.

Her new life is a dream come true – until school begins. The girls are different from Honey’s friends in England and the only person who seems to understand her is the cute boy from the beach she’s chatting to online.Β But when he, the girls at school and even her dad start breaking promises, who can she trust?

All alone on the other side of the world, Honey’s past is about to catch up with her . . .

  4. The best book of the Chocolate Box girls series so far! I loved how it gave a look into Honey’s perspective of events. The other books sort of portrayed her as crazy and moody but you actually see the reasons why now.I’m glad she moved back to Tanglewood in the end!

  6. I read The Chocolate Box Girls series, and when Sweet Honey came out I was desperate to get it because my real name is Honey- I’m NOT lying!
When I read Cherry Crush I realised there was a 14 year old girl called Honey so I went on to red Marshmallow Skye, Summers Dream and Coco Caramel but my fave is Sweet Honey. I am quite like Honey I am confident and chatty but I wouldn’t get expelled from school!! That’s a bit over the top for me!
Anyway, Sweet Honey was great and it showed how hurt you can feel when you get cyberbullied. My older sister Rebekah was cyberbullied but now that has all gone- thankfully! I can’t wait until Fortune Cookie comes out next year-I’m definitely reading it- and I keep having this weird feeling its going to be about Ash!
All your books are great Cathy! Keep writing!

  7. I read Sweet Honey in two days! My mum wasn’t too happy because she bought a book for me to read slowly so she made me stop reading it on the first day. I loved Sweet Honey and I’m glad it all turned out well in the end. It is truely amazing. Honey is (and always has been) my favourite sister. It was great to find out that actually on the inside she is a lonely lost girl. I can’t wait until the next book Fortune Cookie! Keep writing Cathy!

  8. Surprisingly, all your books have somehow linked to my experiences, and this is probably why I enjoy your books so much. I can relate to them, and understand the character’s feelings and emotions. You have helped me so much, Cathy, and I just want to thank you. Your books have not only helped me when I am in tough situations, but they have provided me with a world of escape, a world of my own. Your characters have been my friends. I have to admit, Sweet Honey wasn’t my favourite book of yours, but I still felt it was a very captivating and in some ways moving book. You are my favourite author, and I aspire to be like you someday. I have been waiting for this book to come out since last year (2013), and t was definitely a worthwhile wait. I am writing a story myself, as I have always wanted to be an author, and wish more than anything that you could read it. I can’t make it to any of your book-tour days, but I want you to know I would if I could, because you are just such an amazing writer. I know you probably won’t read this, and will get about a million people with similar reviews, but I just want to say, there’s something special about you, Cathy Cassidy. You’re truly magical. Best Wishes, Your Adoring Fan, Laura. xxxx
