Her new life is a dream come true – until school begins. The girls are different from Honey’s friends in England and the only person who seems to understand her is the cute boy from the beach she’s chatting to online. I loved sweet honey. I was the edge of my seat for ages, hooked.
Loved this book! It was amazing to see life through Honey’s eyes. Up until now I’d thought of her as the ‘bad guy’ but now I think she’s more of a hero! More please!!
I loved this book so unbelievably much!!!
I live in Australia (but in Brisbane, not Sydney though I’ve been there before) so this book was very special to me. A lot of girls in my year ask why I read “baby books” but I started the series when I was 11 and I intend to finish it – it cretainly isn’t just for children’s entertainment. Though QANTAS was spelled wrong which annoyed me just a little 🙂

I loved this book so much! It not only shows how to be safe on the internet but how every person has a good and bad side!
Hi Cathy! I just loved Sweet Honey. As an Aussie I am usually ready to comment on how foreign authors get Australia sooooooo wrong but you described it perfectly except for one thing: the sun is not sunny here, it is burning like we set the country on fire at Christmas. Seriously, last Christmas when we had the family over and we went in the pool, I had on SPF 50 and I got burnt within 20 minutes. Australia is a beautiful country where even in the cities you can’t look anywhere without seeing a plant. I can’t imagine what it would be like in London. It must be way different here as we don’t have middle school and we start school at the end of January and finish at the beginning of December. Also our winter is like your summer. We live right next to a pom and he never wears a shirt except in winter.
Lots of love.
PS. The word pom comes from when the English came over here to play sport and there faces would be as red as a pomegranate.
