Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .
The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?
I loved this book i have read all your chocolate box series and i loved them. Dizzy, Coco caramel, and Cherry crush were my favourite.
Whoever reads cathy cassidy books email me at [email protected]. Thanks.
I love all the chocolate box girls. But my favourite is cherry crush-i can relate to her life. Because my dad works 4 nestle chocolate factory and my mum died was I was 4 yrs old in 2005. Now my dad and I moved to east london
Great book, Summer’s Dream has really helped me through my memories of nearly getting anorexia at thirteen years old. Thank you for writing it Cathy.
I managed to read Amy’s long comment on this site and I think it is really good how she writes her ideas down for stories and gets new ideas popping up, a bit like Cathy getting some of her ideas from daydreaming, that is great! I love writing stories too.
Summer’s Dream is one of those books that I can just not stop reading over and over again! Certainly one of the best books I have ever read.
One of the best books in the world!
Dear Harriet Coco has a book called Coco Caramel and Honey’s book is Sweet Honey
Cathy, this is a BRILLIANT book!!! I’m typing this out on my Kindle which is surprisingly hard work!! I am like a mix or Summer, Skye and Cherry! I do wish that there’d been a musical sister though. I mean, obviously Coco plays violin but I love music and when I’m older I want to sing. But I also do ballet and practise twice a week!!!

OMG Amy, I think we can all tell that u LUV to write after that huge comment!
Wow amazing book. It’s so Touching. It’s very sad. Summer is a amazing girl but she doesn’t listen to her siblings or friends and so cute when Alfie admits he has a crush on her. And hope summer gets better in all of the amazing books to come. Xxxx
