Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .
The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

I think this book is great, as I thought Summer was perfect, especially in Marshmallow Skye. After reading this book, I learnt how far from perfect someone can really be in the inside.

summers dream is my favourite book so far I really enjoyed it! it only took me two days to read it, and that is very fast for me! I just couldn’t put the book down! I am really enjoying the chocolate box girls series it is amazing!

I can’t wait for the next one, so addictive!! I love dance: I do Ballroom, Latin, contemporary, street, disco, freestyle, commercial, ballet, tap, and a couple more. I love the sense of freedom whilst I dance and the way it’s actually the body that’s the art… Ok, I’m rambling now…
