Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .
The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

I read it within a day it was the best book i have ever read! when does the next one come out?
I loved cherry crush and marshmallow Skye and I was extatic when I saw this book in a shop! I started reading it immediately and couldn’t put it down! I can’t wait for the other two books.

Got summers dream today and I read it all, I loved it I just couldnt stop reading it. It was interesting!!! Diffinately one my favourite books! I love the chocolate box girls series because I like the way that all characters are unique. Summer and Skye are my favourites and it’s great to their different views on things!

I absolutely love this book and all the rest of your books Cathy. I think the chocolate box girls is the best series ever and I just can’t choose which is the best. I only finished Summers Dream today and already I can’t wait to read Coco Caramel and Sweet Honey!!! You are by far my favourite author and I wrote to you in school and was elated when I got a reply because you are like a role model to me. I absolutly LOVE Summer’s dream! This book captures the essences of family, frienship, true love and dreams! I’ve met many boys like Arron, and many boys like Alfie, but not one is like Finch….
