SUMMER is quiet, confident, pretty, popular and VERY serious about dance . . .
Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .
The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

Summer has got an addiction to ballet but I think I have got an addiction to reading CC’s books. Summer’s dream is AMAZING and I can not wait to read Cathy’s other books.xx
I do not like dancing but I love watching other people dance and Summer’s Dream is a lovely book, it is ashame about some of the sad bits but it is a good story and it is so happy that Summer and Alfie became such good friends or boyfriend and girlfriend in the end.

Does anyone-else here think the lovely twins Summer and Skye Tanberry might be based on The Olsen twins (Mary-Kate and Ashley)
I wish the Tanberry twins could be real people.
I would love to have them as friends, I suppose they are real to their readers.

Summer is one of my favourite charachters especially because I had a cousin called Summer and it is a very popular name.
I also like the fact it is quite an American name!
