Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .

As soon as I finished cherry crush I raced to the book shop and got summers dream. I picked it up and didn’t put it down until I finished. I really felt a connection with her. Don’t stop writing Cathy.
Hi cathy I have read almost all of your books and I love the series the chocolate box girls. I have read all the series so far and can’t wait for coco caramel and sweet honey. I find your books really relatable and they always put a smile on my face. The problem is I read them to fast because their so good!! x
This is a really good book and i have read them all so far. (Though not in order! ooops!) In this book i felt so sorry for Summer, but i’m glad that she starts getting help.
All in all i really enjoyed this book.

Just finished Summer’s Dream for about my fourth time! I absolutely love all of the chocolate box series, but this one has to be my favourite. Its so humourous even though its a serious matter. Summer’s Dream is also very relatable, she is my favourite character even though I don’t dance because she is a perfectionist like me and can be obsessive. It is a must-must-must-must read!!! PLEASE keep on writing Cathy! I can’t wait for the books about Coco and Honey. Thanks for the awesome books. Nina

I loved this book, with all the love and boyfriends! And that she went out with a boy that she hated but foud she had feelings for. I did the quiz and i turned out to be Skye 🙂 Love it!
I love this book; it is so realistic i have the same dream too i know how it feels, because when I went to my audition for the Royal Ballet School I was scared I wasn’t going to get in… I was wrong, I did great and got accepted i am so glad I went with that once in a lifetime opportunity!!!

Im only in the middle of the book and I love it I just new it was going to be good and it was.if you like dancing I would recommend this book it’s the best
