Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .
The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

I love summers dream…. I am crazy about ballet (and singing) and that is why i love the book so much. I work sometimes for hours to perfect my examination dances at home and at ballet. I do hope summer gets another chance to go to ballet school

Summer’s Dream was an amazing book. I know I’m 15 and it was a short enough read for me but it was still very interesting, getting into the mind of such a determined person who is driven to have an eating disorder. I think you are amazing Cathy and I admire the way you addressed the issue of anorexia. Can’t wait for Coco and Honey. Keep writing! xxx

i just finished summer’s dream.i borrowed it from my friend. I’ve read all of them and there all great!!! the bit i loved was when alfie and summer kissed.IT WAS SO ROMANT. i wish she didn’t throw her pointe shoes away. keep writing Cx.
