Summer’s Dream

SUMMER is quiet, confident, pretty, popular and VERY serious about dance . . .

Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.

Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .

The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

  2. I love this, and this is going to sound scary/weird/gross but I am exactly like her when it comes to food and eating. I can relate to her so much, making her my favourite out of all of them. Even though I don’t do ballet and I eat three times a day. but whatever. And the girl you used for the other cover is so pretty!

  3. I absolutely love this book,I love it so much I read it all in one day by pretending to go to sleep but secretly reading under my duvet with a torch! Summer is so much like me,I don’t do ballet but I take ice skating as seriously as she takes ballet! Is your next book going to be about coco or honey?

  4. I Love this book the way that it really touches your heart just gives that special touch it is brilliant. Summers character is working so hard to get in that ballet school and yet she doesn’t realise how much trouble she is causing for example the lying and the not eating properly because she thinks she will get in the rochelle academy.honestly I loved reading the book all the tension and suspence that it built was brilliant and you just wanted to read more.I loved it and I can’t wait for the next edition of the chocolate box girls.

  6. I loved Summers Dream, the whole eating thing is something that I have experienced, so it was a touching read. I felt like I could particularly relate to Summer- striving for perfection, wanting something so badly, and not thinking about my health. It really helped me to finally get over the tough stage that I went through not so long ago. Can’t wait for the next one!!
