Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .

OMG!!! this book was absolutely A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!!! I read this and marshmallow Skye in 4 days straight!!!! I think it’s true about growing up!! U act the way u think u should for Ur age, but really deep down we r all still little kids, playing a game!!
I love in Cathy Cassidy books the way how u think their gonna kiss, then they dont, then u think again, but still they don’t… And then wen u don’t expect it they do!!!!!!
I Seriously can’t wait till the next book!!!!

Beautiful book. Reccomend it to everyone! It relates to everyone, you don’t have to bottle up your feelings inside, tell people, let them get to know you tht your not always perfect. No one ever is perfect. Cathy Cassidy is an amazing author I just love your books! Can’t wait for Honey’s and coco’s story! I wasn’t looking forward as much as I was with marshmallow Skye than summers dream, but pleasantly suprised. However marshmallow Skye, is my favourite we are very similar (I love vintage and I have a twin brother who always seems to be perfect in everything)

I’m not a dancer so I can’t relate to it in that sense . But my family say i’m a bit of perfectionist and this seems like a book I could really relate to.I’m getting books for my birthday and I’m definitely grabbing this off the shelf.
i LOVED this book i cant WAIT for coco caramel the only problem i had with this book is i didnt like the ending but that doesnt realy bother me much i suggest for every one!
Hi Cathy!! I think that these names are pretty cool for the next Chocolate Box Girls books: Honey Delight and Coco Cream – I made them up myself, but I can’t wait to hear what you call them! Summers Dream, was the first Chocolate Box Girls book I read – it scared me but at the same time I just couldn’t put it down! Then my best friend gave me Cherry Crush and Marshmallow Skye and I loved them too! I did read Driftwood and it was really good too but I’ve fell in love with the Chocolate Box Girls! Keep writing Cathy, your books are the best!
