Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .
The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

i <3 this book my frend is just like summer; loves ballet! i'm more like skye in these books( the chocolate box girls series) But im mostly like Dizzy in your first book cathy!
In 5th grade i read Cherry Crush and instantly fell in love with the book! I immediatley started searching for more books about the Chocolate Box Girls. Last yr in yr 6 my mother found another book, Marshmellow Sky nd also loved that one. And now here i am finding out that i can read Summer’s story too!! All of my friends describe me as Sky, as i love collecting vintage items, and like in her story, am obsessed with a cute vintage birdcage i found!! I cant wait for the other’s stories to come out!!
This book is AMAZING! Very dramatic and full of life. Can’t wait for Coco Caramel.

Summer’s dream is amazing, Cathy really gets into the mind of a 13 year old. Marshmallow Skye and cherry crush where both great as well, and I can’t wait for Coca’s and Honey’s books, but I don’t think any of them will or have bet Summer’s dream. if you haven’t read this book you seriously need to 🙂 xxx
