Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .
The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

Great book. I really find that your books inspire me to write. Summer’s dream is such a good book I could NOT put it down! the chocolate box girl series is the best book series that I have read. can’t wait for the next books to come out but I don’t want the series to end!

I havent yet read Summer’s dream but ive read all your other fantasic books including both chocolate box girls books ive olso read all of the extracts of Summer’s dream and am just diying to read it!!! As soon as i can get my hands on it ill be in my consevetry curled up withe a chunk of galaxy chocolate probally with a friend with my head stuck in the book!!!! Keep writing great books Cathy!!!!

I LOVED this book. I read it a day an a half, iwould of read it quicker, but the olympic ceremony was on, and i got the book in the evening!!! I loved the end, even though it was really sad
this book is amazing it only took me a several hours to read it cos i couldn’t put it down! this story is inspiring not unlike the other chocolate box books. i just cant wait for the books about coco and honey to come out.
