Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .

Wow, I really enjoyed this book:-) The same thing happens with every Cathy Cassidy book I read… I enjoy it so much that I read and read and read and read until the whole world starts spinning and I get so lost in the story, then BAM I finish it and get all depressed. But hey, I always look forward to the next book Cathy will bring out!
I liked Summer’s Dream because it shows how dangerous harming yourself to look ‘pretty’ is. Many girls starve themselves to look slimmer and end up getting seriously ill, and this book is something that they can relate to.

Summer’s Dream was awesome I loved it because it told you how she wanted to achieve her dream but she couldn’t because she was having a eating disorder. It was really great book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
