Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .
The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

i’ve read every single one of her books.they’re amazing.i’ve got my friends to start reading and their addicted too. i can’t wait to read summers dream.i also need to read the daisy star books.i’ve only read 1.but looking forward to it.and i also want to be a writer like Cathy Cassidy and Jacqueline Wilson.i’ve started writing my own book,but not finished yet.it’s taking me forever.

Summer’s Dream is my favourite CC book so far! Anyone who loves dance (as I do) will really relate to the story. An amazing book that grips like a vice. Keep writing Cathy, I can’t WAIT till Coco Caramel! xxx
