Summer’s Dream

SUMMER is quiet, confident, pretty, popular and VERY serious about dance . . .

Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.

Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .

The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

I have been rooting for Alfie and Summer to get together for ages!
Summer’s anorexic storyline really touched me and I think you approached the subject really well, Cathy!
I cannot wait until Coco’s story comes out and esspecially Honey’s!

I love you and your books sooooo much and can really relate to them! I love how you write about what teenagers go through everyday and I know that I’m not the only one going through changes but your books always reasure me!!

I know you have so many fans asking you things like this but it would complete my world if I had an email from you!!!!!! You really have inspired me and I would love to hear from my favourite author in years!!

  6. I absolutely adore, cherrish and LOVE your books they inspire so many young readers. At first when I heard about the books I thought that they may have been a bit to young for me, however I brought Cherry’s Crush and couldn’t put it down I found the Cherry, Shay and Honey triangle amazing. After Cherry’s Crush I didn’t believe that The Choclate Box Girls could get any better. However Marshmallow Skye was a massive hit with me and by the end of it I found myself thinking just like, Skye. However I still must say that Cherry’s Crush is my favourite so far. I have just got Summer’s Dream and I am going to start reading it today. I have to say from Skye’s point of view in her book, I personally didn’t really like the sound of Summer very much however I have seen many fantastic comments about the book on your website. I’m already buzzing about the next book. I’ve heard it’s called Coco Caramel! I that true? And when is it coming out? And what’s Honey’s story going to be called? Can’t wait, love you Cathy your an inspiration! X
