I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of this book and I really enjoyed it. My son is the same age as Alice at the beginning of the book and I could really relate to the things happening to her and her friends as they start High School.
Each chapter is set up the same way; the first paragraph is what is happening to Alice in the present, then what is occurring in the alternative world of Wonderland followed by a flashback to the events leading to the mysterious accident.
As a parent I felt the hospital scenes were very well written and I could really empathise with Alice’s mother.
Thinking back to my own High School days I could also understand why Alice went along to the sleepover although the reader will probably be thinking “No, don’t do it!!”
I have only read the odd chapter of Cathy’s books before just to get a feel for her writing and the subject matter but this book grabbed me and I found I couldn’t wait for my breaks to read some more!
I will definitely be recommending this to my customers when it is released for sale.

I can not wait to buy this book as I love Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland by Lewis Carol. He is a remodel to have created such an amazing book and now that Cathy Cassidy has created her own version I am very excited! my name shows how much I love this book!!! LOL and it is my real name.
