I read this book when i was younger and absolutely adored it, i’m 18 now and find myself still thinking about it sometimes along with Ginger snaps! came on here to try remember the name of the character Joey, i always thought she was cool (i still do)
Haven’t read this book yet, but it sounds great! A shed across my road always reminds me that is the last book that I haven’t read by you, Cathy, because it is called Driftwood! How cool is that? 🤯🤣

This book’s cool, I think Joey is my favourite character (apart from when she’s on Slush Planet with Kit!) But definitely enjoyed it!
I really loved the book. It was very interesting. I with we found out more about Paul and Hannah. However, I love the overall theme of the book!!!
I just want to say I read this book as a child and it meant so much to me. I am 22 now and so many of the images in the book have stuck in my mind forever – the kitten on the character’s shoulder, the brother Kit(Kat), the driftwood decorations in her house. I don’t think I even knew what driftwood was at the time as we don’t have any where I live but I was fascinated! I thought Joey was the coolest girl ever and I so wanted to be like her. I just want to say thanks for your books 🙂 <3
I love this book it made my hear brake at the end with story about paul . I liturly need another that caries on from this. your book are the only ones i will read . 🙂
I love the book so much! I have not finished it yet though its brilliant! I love the part when Paul follows Hannah’s cat down onto Driftwood Beach. During parts of the Story whilst reading i was like COME ON HANNA TELL HIM YOU LIKE HIM. At the first part of the story when Hannah was telling the readers about her Best Friend Joey I’m not sure why but Joey seems to have the same personality as Joey from Full house and its just really fun and Interesting to listen too! Ty for writing this! 🙂
