Here's how to enter the new writing competition for all of you would-be writers out there!

Make sure you include your name, age and where you are from so that we can feature you on the website.

The competition is only open to under 16 year olds. You need to ask you parent/guardian’s permission to enter and please ask them to read the following:

Notice to parent/guardian of children under 16 years old. If you are a parent/guardian of the child entering this competition and you consent to the child entering, please write the following on their entry and add your signature and name: I consent to this child entering this competition (Cathy Cassidy Writing Competition) under the Terms and conditions of Puffin (the Promoter) as found on www.cathycassidy.com. (Name and signature of parent.guardian)

Terms of entry

Entries must be all your own, original work
Include your name, age and postal address in case you are a winner (this will be kept confidential).
The competition is open to under-16s only.
No feedback on individual entries can be offered
The judges decision is final, and winners will be posted on the website after the closing date.
