Molly, who not make it different – dress up as Scarlett, bring in mint, strawberries, hazel leaves, a horseshoe… ask the class to write wishes onto ribbons or rags to hang on a tree in the school grounds… be imaginative, as well as giving a report on the book! Good luck! xxx

Hey Cathy hope your well and dreaming up your next choclate box girl book as i love the series so far. could you possibly visit surrey prefrebly near Guilford? i know its a long way away from scottland but i adore your books and i would love to meet you. The book that means the most to me is my edition of Sundea Girl (sorry if i splet it wrong.) not because its my fave book i could never pick a fave book but my Gran died of altsimerz (wrong spelling again)and when she did it broke my heart and in sundea girl you expressed the pain and anger so well it made me cry. Now that edition of your book sits on top of her grave and i like to think she reads it and when ever i go to her grave i talk to her abotu in my head. Hi Cathy! I love your books a lot but I don’t really think you should sell the new covers that have the pictures of the ‘characters’ on the front because it won’t let people use their imagination! I thought ALL of the characters on the books looked really different, especially Cherry, Scarlett and Mouse!

Dear Cathy, I think that your new book covers are different, some of them are spot on for me, Angel Cake, Dizzy, Ginger Snaps, Indigo Blue and Sundae Girl. But Driftwood, Cherry Crush, Lucky Star, Marshmallow Skye and my absoulute favourite,Scarlett are completely different to wqhat I imagined and now it’s like the Harry Potter series. Cathy it was the BEST ever! 1.Was it hard to write? 2.Is it ok that it gave me an idea for a story and Skye is the main character and has a twin and love 1920 vintage and makes up a girl from the 1920s and finds out she is related and is called Jane and Skye`s twin in Star! 3. Hey Cathy do you think you could come to Clackmannanshire one day? My favourite book ever is Marshmallow Skye but Cherry Crush is my second favourite. M Y favourte character ever from all of my books (and I have over 180 because thats how much I have on my bookshelves and I have books everywhere) is Coco because she is funny and the youngest and she loves ponies and animals. Believe it or not I got the same present as her, riding lessons! Only, I got 16, but still! YAY ! I cant wait until Summer’s Dream is out but I read super fast and my mum says that I mght not be getting any more. Boohoo. Summers Dream is about ballet and I knew ballet would be a bigt part in it.
