I can never keep my resolutions. Mostly they’re stop daydreaming in maths, try and finish a story and think less judgmental things about people i don;t get on with. ah well maybe this year will be different. I spent new year on a plane, flying home ( I commented about it on Cool Christmas) I’m really looking forward to the new Chocolate Box books. I think I’d be perfect for modelling Coco, so I’m definitely entering that competition. I love animals and when I was on holiday in Cyprus I rented a horse and called him Bubble Trouble because he was so naughty! I wanted to be a vet, but now I want to be a scientist, as I’m top in science- and a lot of other subjects- but I still want to work with animals and plants, like a marine biologist, or a botanist. I was a bit disappointed that Coco had blonde hair, I have brown shoulder length hair. However, I do have natural blonde streaks in it from the sun. So, I’ll defo be entering, and I hope I at least get through the audition.

Hi Cathy, I can’t wait till your other books come out, the chocolate box girls are the best! Last year was such a great year, but now I’m nervous about grade 6, and I’m not with any of my friends, only one, but I’m still excited for the new year! I got a phone last year, along with cute bangles, docking station for my MP3 player and more. I also got chocs and a book and a pig torch and other stuff!!!

I LOVE your books along with Jacqueline Wilson. When I grow up, I hope to travel and write, maybe be a travel journalist or a nurse.

Hi my names is stella and I really enjoy reading your books and have collected all of your books and have been getting a new dreams and doodles daybook each year. I think I like Skye tanberry the most but I am most like cherry because I moved into a new family to…... But i was with my mum. My step sisters names are: Izzy(short for Isabelle) Luca Sunny(short for Sunday) Journey It was very hard moving into a new family and I was so used to not having to share my stuff with everyone. Now I even share a room. Journey is the oldest (16) and she has a disease called a spergis I think that’s how you spell but that makes her a little different from the rest of us. Luca is the second oldest(14) and she obsessed with horses. I am the second youngest being only 6 months younger than luca. Sunny the youngest is 12 and she is bit like coco because she loves animals and. Enjoys climbing trees. I don’t know who luca is like but journey is kinda like honey but she is nice to me alot more. I am like cherry cause I am a bit of a liar or should I say I have an overactive imagination. I don’t know where my dad is. He left me when I was really small and I never saw him again. I guess now you know how much my life is like the chocolate box girls

I am in a Cathy Cassidy book club at school and we got my class teacher to read Cherry Crush and she is hooked – she loves it. I write books and I write on the computer every single day. I love all your books my favourites are Cherry Crush because I like the way Cherry is an outsider and doesn’t have any friends, but when she comes to Tanglewood, she becomes a different person and she doesn’t need to lie anymore… And I also love Marshmallow Skye because I like the twist with Clara Travers being in the story. I love the ending where Jamie Finch meets Skye – I want to know what happens next. Please please please can you come to Ascot or Windsor because I would LOOOOOVE to see you in person! @ Ruth, I read and reply to all my emails, though it can take a while as I get around 200 a day… they are answered in order of receipt, so be patient. If you don’t hear after 4 weeks or so, I probably didn’t receive the email so try again. (Did you email through one of the website links?)
