Dreams come true!
Best friends are there to support you in reaching out for your dreams. In SUMMER'S DREAM Summer wants so much to be a ballerina that she starts to lose sight of the most important things in her life – her friends, parents, even her twin sister Skye.
For My Best Friend Rocks 2012 we asked you to share your dreams and tell us how you and your BFF support each other to achieve them!!
The Shortlist
With this years MBFR comp we've asked you to share your hopes and dreams... so it's no surprise that the entries were out of this world! I think drawing up the shortlist was harder than ever before, but these are the six pairs of friends who have made the finals... congratulations, and a special well done to all who entered!
Imogen & Tegan
This entry sizzled with fun and enthusiasm! Imogen's dream is to be a fashion designer and Tegan will be with her all the way. Imogen's entry is bright, cool and creative, with lots of fab 3-D effects that made me smile!
Kate & Evie
With this entry, it was the dream itself that got me... 'to be best friends forever.' The artwork, photos and words all sparkled with fun and showed a strong, special friendship. I think Kate's dream might just come true!
Shahira & Tasnim
I once trained as an illustrator myself, so I fell for this fab picture right away! Shahira dreams of being an illustrator and author, which were my dreams too once, and Tasnim helps her with ideas and inspiration. Sounds like a perfect partnership!
Marie & Abigail
This entry stood out for me because it shows how Marie is already working hard to make her singing dreams come true! Abigail has always helped to encourage Marie and boost her confidence - a really supportive friend!
Ella & Orli
Ella's dream was different enough to catch my eye - she plans to beat shyness, and because I was a shy teen too this was a dream I especially liked. Ella and Orli have a strong friendship which, if this bright 'n' beautiful entry is anything to go by, is also filled with fun!
Grace & Naomi
This entry is cool, creative and bursting with imagination! The original entry form was barely visible beneath the crazy collage of images, feathers and fold-out descriptions. Grace and Naomi dream of travelling the world. I suspect that they will, and that they'll have a LOT of fun on the way!

The Prize
Send your entry in to us and you could win the chance for both you and your BFF to come to a special MBFR AWARD CEREMONY on Sunday 17 June 2012, when Cathy will announce the overall winning entry.
The AMAZING first prize for you and your best friend includes:

Your entries will be judged by our panel of experts, including Cathy Cassidy, Cathy's editor at Puffin and Mizz's editor too!

How to Enter
- Download an ENTRY FORM here then print it out.
- Draw a pic (or use a photo) of you with your BFF
- Draw your dream in the bubble (or use photos)
- Write a sentence about your dream and how your BFF will help you achieve it.
- Decorate the page however you like – be sure to use lots of colour and creativity here!
- Then send your entry before 30 April 2012 to:
