I finished Angel Cake last night. My favourite part was when “Santa Claus” offers Jozef a job. I was upset at the part where Dan finds his dad with another woman. Dan is so upset that he doesn’t give his dad a chance to speak. Keep writing, Cathy! Your books make time pass so swiftly. You have an excellent talent, and let’s hope that when I’m thirty, (nineteen years away) you’ll still be writing.

i have read angel cake 8 times and absolutely love it. my fave bit is when Dan and Anya go out on Christmas Eve into the park – it’s so sweet! Life is sweet, but it’s definetly sweetest when cake is involved!

When I had Gingersnaps I heard about Angel Cake it was a shock!!! I am Polish, went to live in England where my dad got to work so it was so simillar I could n’t wait but I had wait 3 months until I got it. I also got a shock because my surname(nowak) was mentioned and when my dad’s name got mentioned( Tomasz)!!! I LOVE IT !!!!!

it’s good, probebly the only thing that got me to finish my SOSE assignment. i think some of the other books are better thou. daizy star is so cute! her classrooms is a bit like the ones from my primary school. our desks were always in groups and every class had paints, paper and a box full of glitter and ribbon. last year out teacher also let us listen to music. what’s sugar paper, i’ve never heard of it?

I loved Angel Cake. I loved how Anya ended up fitting in with Frankie and Kurt!!! They are such a cute couple!!! I introduced your books to all of my friends here in Australia and the school librarian, on reading them went out and bought every single one!!! I just love your books!!!

I havent read the book myself but my bestie has and all she can talk about is CC ’s books, escpeccialy this one so shes aggreed to bring it to school for me to read since I’ve been strung onto the CC books line!! I would also like to say that every one of CC’s books are all being borrowed at the moment and most have about 3 requests on it!

i finished it last night its way gud. i love anya she is totally awesum i wud love her as a friend i felt soryy for her at the beginning when she didnt settle in but then i was glad she made friends. Dans a really cool character. Loved this book !!

Hey Cathy, I loved angel cake,I have just finished it. Last night i read shine on daisy star and thought it was amazing. Angel Cake is just so gripping and its so true. Its hard to believe people are so nasty in the world and its terrible that people are actually experiencing that on a daily basis. My favourite character has to definitely be Dan because he is so cool! There is always like this magical romantic feeling in each of your books!
