MY REVIEW : The interactive books game is very cool. Each book contains animations and collectable items. The items are added to your collection and unlock games for you to play with your friends or family. Some of the words are highlighted and if you tap them, they reveal more about that particular thing. After each chapter you read, there is a survey for you to complete which helps you score more points! The game contains 6 of Cathy’s really cool books and plenty of other things for you to do. It is an amazing game which is well worth getting! And the great thing is, you can read Cathy Cassidy books anywhere without having to carry loads of books! This game is seriously cool and I would give it 10/10.

MY REVIEW : It has an easy to use scroll system so you can view any of Cathy’s latest books, read them and join in on the great quizzes.

I love the way moving graphics appear on every other page, to give the book a bit more fun…like Cathy’s books are boring!!!

You can collect little symbols as you read your way through for bonuses and more quizzes and fun. It’s a great way to interact with Cathy’s Books and enjoy reading that little bit more.

If a pal wants to read a section of the book you can send it to their DS too, which helps you unlock even more awesome bonuses and quizzes.

And if that isn’t enough there is a great tutorial to show you how to get the best out of the game.

It is truly a great game that you should be sure to buy.

Wow, the first author I know to do this (or maybe the first EVER author to do it). I’m sure it’ll be great fun to take a reading book with you stored in your DS anywhere!!

I think it is a brill idea and I have already entered. Plus there are also games and other activities. It is really good if you don`t have those books, as they all come together in this game. I wonder if Cathy came up with this idea?

Sadly not, Anna… the Flips are currently available in UK & Ireland only, but I’m hoping that if the idea takes off they will spread right around the world… let’s hope so! xxx

How much is the game? It looks sooooooo cool the game is at the top of my christmas list really hoping I get it I will start reading it the day I get it if I do get it!? :)You are soo lucky to be a writer how did your career start?

I don’t like the idea really. I thought books were the one thing were you could get lost in someones new world. Now everything slowly is becoming so tech and stuff. Why not take a book fromt he library read it instead of sraight away watching the movie online or playing the game? That’s just my opinion….

In the Cathy Cassidy FLIPS game you can read six of Cathy’s books (Scarlett, Gingersnaps, Shine on Daizy Star, Angel Cake, Sundae Girl And Driftwood). In the books you can collect things and when you have collected 24 things you can unlock a game or activity or some jokes. At the start of each chapter is a moving picture and a chapter summary also you can get to a contents page. Every few pages there is an animation like some stars or hearts and every few chapters there is a quiz that you can play. When you complete a book you unlock a bonus book, you can also send part of books to friends and family to unlock bonus books!

I do agree with Emmi. It is a good idea if you’re going on holiday and you don’t want to bring to much, but reading a book is the best. I do like the ideas about the special features about the books, but I have to say lots of things are becoming high tech these days. I have entered the competition, though.

Hi Cathy! My name’s Priyanka and wanna be a author when I grow up. I know that sounds really lame but I really love to write. Me and my friend have written a 13 chapter story called: The two musketeers!To me writing is a way to express your true feelings about life in words, and a way to let your imagination go wild and make what want to happen in real life, happen in a story.

I’am also really excited about Cathy Cassidy Flips! Yesterday I went to two GAME shops and a gamestation shop, but they didn’t have it!

Anyway, I’m a new comer to Cathy’s brilliant books. I’ve started reading one called ‘Lucky Star’ ever since my friend lent it two me a few weeks ago and I just can’t put it down! I’m on the chapter where Scully has attacked mouses house, and Mrs.S is in shock! I can’t wait to read more!

So yeah… I guess this is it. Still hoping to catch Cathy’s Flips in a DS game catcher.
