The most excting book I have read in ages! It was full of wonderful surprises, well maybe not for Daizy though. I just could not put the book down! It was that fab I read it in less than 1 hour! I like the band called “Smashed bannanas” I don’t think Spike is as crazy as he sounds. Although, his band is. Now I have read it I’d like a pink, funky guitar and I want to try some custard donughts!

I just finished this book 10 minutes ago! I read it in 3-4 days. I couldn’t put it down it was so amazing. I hope Daizy’s father doesn’t have another plan in mind. I love the endings to the Daizy Star books! They are soo funny and you just want the book to last forever I know i do!

I know this book is for younger readers and i usually read your 9+ books, but seriosly, i read your exert, and i think this book sounds awsome! i love the bit at the start about the alarm clock and the intro to the characters,i totally want to meet Becca! Well… what can I say?
AMAZING! It had me engrossed from the minute I picked it up, to the minute I put it down! I really enjoyed it.

The story line was great. I really loved the family emotion, and the goat! I think that you really showed people what Charity Work does for people living in the poor parts of the world.

The characters in this story were funny. My fave was, and has to be, the Guitar Guru! He was so funny, as all of them, and really pushed Daizy to express her inner Guitar-self. If you look below, you will see my ratings for this books:

Hey!
I just read Daizy Star no 2 and I just loved it! It’s really well written. I’d have thought Cathy could only write from teen’s point of view, but I was sooo wrong. Though you can totally tell it’s from an eleven year old’s point of view, it’s funny and lively and it shows how you can feel when you’re under pressure and you fail what you put all your hopes up. Pixie (Daizy’s little sister)is mega-ultra-super cute and Becca is fantastic. Shine on, Daizy Star!
