This particular book, took me a one week school holiday, to read! I found the story line, really gripping and interesting – because of this, I have read it twice, and I am on my third time!

Have just finished reading this book, literally a sec ago. it freaked me out, because Daizys life is so similar to mine!! Not only does her dad teach her how to swim, and print her off a certificate on the computer, he’s going through a midlife crisis. and she also has to deal with a vain boy with blonde spiky hair he can’t leave alone who just so happens to be called ETHAN, come and do heroics after she twists her ankle on a field.

... all of which has happened to me…

Daizy Star was a fabulous book that told the things going on through Daizy’s life kind of like what ten year olds go through. Even ages older. It was captivating story and it showed how you can always get through things with wishes, family and friends and a bit of magic!

I just read it yesterday and i loved it. The illustrations made it more life like and the actual book was really interesting.
It’s about a girl whos 10 3/4 and in yr 6. Her friends are going crazy after the most annying boy in the school, her used to be perfect student sister had turned emo and her dad has come up with the worst idea in the world! How could anything be worse, well for Daizy Star it could!
It’s the day of the big swim. Daizy would love to help with the charity event but there’s just one problem: the swimming part…...
To find out more , youl’ll have to read the book!!!

well it was a good and intresting book to read. what i really liked was that when she put the socks in here swiming costume and it fell out that made me laugh till i cryed. when i first got the book i read it then suddenly i was like trapped in the book, i swear if i got the book early in the morning like 8:oo i would have finished at like 10:oo. i didn’t like beth and willow because when daizy didn’t invite them over her house they didn’t be daizy’s friend but what if daizy had problems like really bigg problems at home like she wet her bed would they like that noooo. daizy big sister her being a goth was kind of scary. i wonder you at the end of the story and the dad has another plan i wander what it was!
