getting a divorce, and having many lies been told to me, I know exactly how it is. I loved how I could relate myself to the main character. Plus, I would probably go for the type of guy that Finn was. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to read more of Cathy Cassidy’s books.

Dizzy is about to turn twelve and as usual she is really excited. But unlike most eleven-year-olds, she’s not excited about getting a giant cake, or choosing what to wear, or having all her friends give her presents. Dizzy is waiting for that special something from her mum to come through the letterbox.
Dizzy’s mum walked out on her when she was four to be with another man and travel the world as a hippie. But every year on her birthday, something arrives from her mum in the post. I read Dizzy straight after Driftwood and thought it was amazing, it made me cry. I felt close to the characters as if I knew them. I also loved it as it was set in Scotland where I live. This book is my absolute and utter favourite of your books. I read it in an hour and then read it five more times in two days. I ‘borrowed’ it from my school library for six months and was forced to give it back by a sadistic, cruel teacher. Wah! Then I bought it from a shop a few days back and haven’t put it down since.

Wow. Dizzy is absolutely one ofmy favorite books! And I’ve read really many books. It’s one of those books that you can just imagine how everything looks like, just excactely what’s going on, and the way they talk, it’s like taken from normal kids (now these books, were they talk PERFECT and you just think “kids don’t talk like that at all!”) I love “Dizzy” as book, as person and everything. It’s the first Cathy Cassidy-book I read, and I’m absolutely going to read another one or two. I’d wish I’d meet a boy like Finn, he sound so sweet and understanding and almost perfect <3

I love the way Finn and Dizzy knew each other when they were little, and are now friends again, in a special way (not like how Dizzy’s friends with the girls from her school).

It’s a gripping book from start to end. Many things you can learn about.
I love Finn, and I think Cathy Cassidy is my favourite author now. :-)
