Angel Cake

Will Anya's new beginning have a happy ending?

'I'm excited about moving, but scared as well . . .'

Anya used to dream of moving to Britain to start a brand-new life. But as she sits in a school where nobody understands her, she dreams of Polish summer skies and the place where she once belonged.

Then Anya meets bad boy Dan. He's no angel, but she's sure there's a sweeter side to him. And when things begin to fall apart, Anya realizes she's not alone - how can Dan be such bad news when being with him feels like heaven?

Loved it. Really made you think of how you'd feel of you moved to a country with a language you couldn't understand.

    Hi Cathy,
This book is great and i love it. I love cupcakes and that's what made me read this.Dan is cool and Anya is great not to forget about Frankie and Kurt. Thanks to the recipes that was at the end of the book. Keep on writing and don't forget to put in something about cakes to your books.

uhm.. i red your book and it`s really interesting! i have the indigo blue, angel cake and driftwood. i already red indigo blue and angel cake.. i`m reading driftwood in the present. i can imagine all the things your tell in the story. (since i have a huge imagination, which can be creepy when i hear scary stories.) anyway, i like the "FRIENDS FOREVER? try our fun quiz to see how you rate as a mate" at the back part of the driftwood book. i`m in duabi now, and i`m checking any bookstore i see if your book is in there but unluckily, i haven`t seen one yet. anyway, I LOVE YOUR BOOKS! ^_^

Angel cake is such a good book.I loved reading it Here’s my review

Anya moves from cosy Poland to busy England, and she is not happy. She misses her friends, her grandparents and her school is like a zoo. Then she meets bad boy Dan, her grey cloud life gets a silver lining…but not for long.

This is a great book about family, friends, crushes and, of course, cake!

Great book!! I actually nearly cried at the Christmas dance part. The bits where Dan and Anya were together could make my heart break and miss a beat dozens of times. It is my fave book and I think if you make more like it you will imeadiantly get a new fan. (sorry if I misspelled any words)

This book was passed on to me by a family friend. As soon as I got it I started reading. I kept on reading until I finished I couldn't take my eyes of the page. Can you please make a sequel?
    Love your #1 fan
