IMAGINE FESTIVAL!!!!

If you are in or around London on Friday 20th February, why not liven up your half-term by coming along to see me at The Imagine Childrens’ Literature Festival at the Southbank Centre, London? I’d love to see you all!

I’ll be talking about my books, especially Gingersnaps which has just gone into paperback, and also revealing more about Daizy Star and Angel Cake, coming in June and July. I might even give you a hint about a third book I’m writing just now, which will be out in October! I’ll also be signing books and telling everyone a bit more about the first ever National Best Friends Day on July 4th… it’s going to be COOL!!!

GINGERSNAPS TOUR!

I’m currently on the road to celebrate the launch of GingerSnaps in paperback here in the UK! Although it got off to a bit of a cold start this morning when the snow closed the school in London. Sorry to the girls at Pimlico Academy that I couldn’t come to see you but I hope you all had fun in the snow!

I LOVE the snow though – have a look at the photo of me at the bottom of this post outside Puffin HQ this morning! I can’t believe I’m in the middle of London and it’s covered in snow – check out the view from Puffin HQ’s window too!

Hopefully the rest of my tour will all go according to plan so check out MY CAMPER to see if I’m doing an event near you. Thank you to everyone who came to see me on Saturday in Carlisle – I had such a great time and it was so lovely to meet you all.

And I’m so excited that MY BEST FRIEND ROCKS 2009 is now open for your entries. It’s my friendship award so that you can nominate your best friend for being brilliant and being there for you. You and your best friend could win some amazing prizes and you could both be invited to an incredble award ceremony as part of the National Best Friends Day celebrations on 4th July where you can meet me!
