SCOTTISH FRIENDSHIP FESTIVAL DATES!!!
Before the main part of my GINGERSNAPS tour kicks off, I will be hosting a trio of cool ‘n’ fab Friendship Festivals in Scotland! I hope my Scottish readers will come along and join in the fun!!! You can get your hands on a copy of GINGERSNAPS before the official release date, meet me, get your books signed, and take part in some great activities too!
Here are the dates…
SAT 28th JUNE 2pm at BORDERS BOOKSHOP, Glasgow Fort…
MON 30th JUNE 2pm at BORDERS BOOKSHOP, Fort Kinnaird, EDINBURGH
TUES 1st JULY 2pm at BORDERS BOOKSHOP, DUNDEE!!!

Win tickets to the Ultimate Friendship Festival!
If you weren’t lucky enough to be one of the finalists in My Best Friend Rocks or you didn’t enter the competition, then you could still be in with a chance of being one of the very lucky people coming to Cathy Cassidy’s Ultimate Friendship Festival! We are releasing a very limited amount of extra tickets, so you could be coming along too.
The festival is taking place on Sunday 6 July in central London and everyone there will be treated to fun-packed day of music, makeovers and craft, chocolate and journalism workshops. AND you’ll even get the chance to meet Cathy Cassidy herself!
We have 15 sets of 3 tickets (for you, your best friend and a parent/guardian) up for grabs! Before you enter, please make sure that you are free to come to London on the 6 July, that your friend and parent/guardian are free too and that you have read all the terms and conditions very carefully!

Hi Cathy!! My fave character is Mouse because he is brave, loyal, and has such an origional and unique personality in Lucky Star that sets him apart from all the other characters. He also likes animals like me! I love the relationship between him and Cat- even though it doesn’t end too well.

My favourite character is Cat of Lucky Star because the way Cathy describes her is really good- sweet mediteranean looks and green slanted eyes, I used this sort of description for a character lost in a mystery island in my S.A.Ts.

My favourite Cathy Cassidy character is Indigo Blue, I like her because her life turns for the worst and she still keeps her head high! She is an extremely brave person and even when things go bad, she will do anything for her family! In some ways I would like to be her because she just gets on with it.
