ALL I WANT FOR XMAS...

It’s not a story, like my other books, but a cross between a diary and a writer’s notebook/doodle book. It’s the perfect way to get creative – scribble down ideas for stories/poems/song lyrics, sketch out a cool new character or turn your crush into a cute manga-pic!
There are even a couple of pages taken from my own writer’s notebook to show you how I jot down story ideas and build up cool characters! And then there’s the diary bit, so you can practice your writing by doing a little bit every day… You can even fill out all your secret hopes ‘n’ dreams… and work out how you’re going to make them come true! JOURNEY COMP RESULTS....
At last, the results for the ‘JOURNEY’ writing comp are online… just click the WRITERS WORKSHOP page and scan down to see them. The standard was as high as ever, so well done to everyone who entered… I just wish there could be more winners!

WHAT WOULD YOU DO???
Most of us spend our time rushing around, trying to get everything done that we need to but often way too busy and stressed to manage it… and sometimes, we forget the really important stuff! I had a very cool email recently from reader Duck G from Scotland… whoa! Take a look!
“a little while back everyone had a theory the world would explode. i didn’t believe it, but it made me think. What if it WAS proven the world was gonna go boom and you had 24 hours left… what would you do? i’d fly down to england to visit my half-nieces and do at least 5 good deeds for the planet… i’d send all of my friends cards and buy a big fat notebook as a present for myself. i’d give each member of my family a big hug and throw glitter and shiny stars out of the window…”
Hmmm. I love Duck’s ideas… and maybe we shouldn’t wait until the world is ending to do the things that matter! What would YOU do?

if the world was gonna end in 24 hours id give all my family a huge hug and make sure they knew how much i loved them all!! id tell my friends just how much they mean to me and id got my my friend from primary school and tell him how i really feel!! id do something special like have a huge party just so it go out with a bang!!!

if i had 24 hours left i would make myself feel good about everything i’ve done.I woul make a huge fuss over everyone (including my dog and Hamsters)I would pray to God saying thanks about the good things i’ve done in my 11 years. I would ring up all my close friends and say goodbye and mabey say bye to their family for lcking aftr me on various occasions. I would visit dogs trust as i love dogs and i’ve alwaysed wantd to go there. The last thing i’d do, in the the last hour i would shout out of my window and shout as loud as i can goodbye. Oh and watch the news see wha there doing. Bye

Hi Cathy, What would I do? Well, If it was possible i;d fly to Srilanka and meet my family there. I’d also spend some good quality time with my mates! We’d go shopping, and I’d spend all my money on things I’ve always wanted, but never got round to buy. I’d also eat chocolate, under the stars at night, and feel the sweet sensation on my tongue for the last time….... Last of all, I’d tell my parents I love them a lot, and give them mega hugs. All i want for christmas is…
BOOKS ! I know who has me for secret santa in my family so i gave them a list of books i’d like, including your Dreams and Doodles Daybook, though i wonder why its called a daybook, it’s more a nightbook for me, i like to read and write during the night, burning the midnight oil!! So basically all i want are books. Oh and i would like a hassle free fun christmas, but then again, no hassles means life would be extremely boring!!

i love christmas!!!!!! my whole family comes round to our house for dinner and presents!!!! this year is going to be evben better tho because at new years we are having a HUGE party!!!! its going to be so fun!!! i already have all your books so i cant put any of them on my list but im going to see scouting for girls tomorrow for my xmas prezzy and im so excited!!! just thought someone might be interested in my little ramble!!!
